Howard University
Known as "The Mecca," Howard University was established in 1867 in Washington, DC, and offers the College of Science and the dynamic Karsh STEM Scholars Program (KSSP) that attracts very high-achieving African American academic scholars. This prestigious program prepares undergraduate scholars to pursue a PhD or combined MD-PhD in STEM and recognized by the National Science Foundation (NSF) as one of the leading HBCUs that produces an apex of African American undergraduates in the field of Science.

Hampton University
Situated near the beautiful shores of the Chesapeake Bay, Hampton University was established in 1868 in Hampton Virginia. With an extensive School of Science, Engineering, Nursing and Pharmacy programs, Hampton University has positioned itself as a premier research institution. The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) named Hampton University within the 7.7% of all the universities in the world. Florida A&M University was established in 1887 in Tallahassee, Florida. Xavier University of Louisiana
The esteemed Xavier University at New Orleans, LA was established in 1925 where scholars can major in Biological and Applied Health Sciences, Mathematical and Physical Sciences, College of Pharmacy. Xavier was ranked as a top 10 university by the Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC) in sending African American students successfully to complete medical school.
